Camelot Creature Comforts is a small Pet Shop 25 miles North of Cambridge and a mile and a half North of Ely, situated in a small hamlet called Chettisham. We’re easily found, as there’s only us and the Petrol Station, which we’re next door.

We stock budget and premium feeds and accessories for dogs, cats, small animals, wild and tame birds, fish, horses, chickens and farm animals. We also stock fishing bait and frozen meat for dogs. We do not sell furry or feathered creatures, just the wherewithal to keep them happy & healthy.

Here are some price lists. Where possible I try to buy in on special deals, so the prices may differ from time to time, but these are the basic prices.

  Judges Choice is my choice every time. It is a small, family-owned, specialist company based at Norwich. Their philosophy, which ties in so well with mine, is to provide high quality dog foods at a reasonable price to the consumer. They have a long tradition within the working dog sector developing their popular range of working dog food, from puppy to senior, with leading gun dog trainers and in 1966 were awarded a Royal Warrant. They have recently acquired the Top Number and Happidog pet food brands and so I can obtain vegetarian dog food on request. Two new dog foods have been added to their range developed to meet the exacting demands of working dogs in Finland. The Olympian dog food comes in Duck & Potato retailing at £24.25 for 12 kilos, and Venison & Potato, £30.95 for 12 kilos. All common allergens have been excluded making it very suitable for dogs with delicate digestions or allergic skin conditions. I stock a wide selection of collars and leads mainly from Trixie, which I find to be of high quality and reasonably priced. I stock Dorwest Herb, Herbal & Health, Cortaflex from Equine America, wormers & flea products from Sherleys, bargain parrot & small bird and animal cages from Melton Pet Products, where I also get small and large parrot chunks which is a complete parrot food which avoids picky eating. Horse-wise, apart from the feed and bedding, I stock a basic range of shampoos, health & hygiene products, buckets, gloves, licks, that sort of thing.

Come and visit us and find out how friendly and helpful we are. We may surprise you with the variety of items we stock. It doesn’t look much from the front, but as you walk past the side of the bungalow, an Aladdin’s Cave confronts you. You’re sure of a warm welcome at all times.
